Our Center

NGCC offers children a place to grow and teachers who nurture this growth. The teachers make children feel comfortable in their “second home,” encouraging them to explore and play, challenging and supporting them to learn about the world and people in their lives all in a cozy environment where it is easy for them to feel relaxed, secure and be themselves. Through play, children work out difficulties they encounter in the world and leads children to think in new ways and to create new solutions to real challenges. Children’s play is involving, child directed and process-oriented. Parents and teachers have a role in facilitating children’s play by providing an environment conducive to play, and to promote, support and assist children in their play when needed. We understand the importance of play and recognize that play is as vital to a child’s growth as counting from 1-10.
